High Sierra Music festival 2014 and Beth and I are backstage watching The Califonia Honey Drops open for funk juggernaut Lettuce. As the party starts jumping, I look behind me only to see Ben Morrison and Erika Tietjen. I offer Ben some moonshine and we drank talking about Devil Makes Three. That night both bands killed the late night show. I left feeling like I had been blessed by the musical gods and treated to how powerful live music can be when true

artists create a magical direction with the spirit. As the late show went on, Beats Antique and other artsists dropped by to see the show. The next morning, I stumbled over to see my friend Dave Yeaman of Jam in the Van. Performing that afternoon was a band known as the T Sisters and their folk driven, R & B influenced harmonies, were just what I needed. Winter Wonder Grass 2015, was a great place to see awesome bluegrass musicians. The T Sisters singing back up vocals for Brothers Comatose and Elephant Revival sounded amazing. All three sisters spoke to us about singing the national anthem at the Giants game and their new upcoming live album in the incubator slated for release this fall.
